Jahdiel, born Grace Jahdiel Benjamin (née Okoduwa) on November 11, 1986, in Lagos State, Nigeria, is a renowned gospel singer, songwriter, and vocalist. She began her musical journey in her church choir at the age of five and started playing the keyboard at thirteen. She professionally entered the music scene in 2006, releasing her debut album, "Heritage", in 2008, which brought her widespread recognition. Known for her Afrocentric gospel pop style, her music blends English pop with African influences, setting her apart in the Nigerian gospel music industry. Jahdiel has released several albums, including Under Oath (2010), Majesty (2015), and Grace (2019). She is celebrated for hit songs like “Heritage,” “Ebube Dike,” and “This My Hands.” Her achievements include nominations at prestigious awards like the Kora Awards and the Nigerian Gospel Music Awards. Jahdiel is signed to Hammer House Records, owned by her husband, fellow gospel artist Eben, with whom she shares a strong musical and personal partnership. Together, they have two children and remain influential figures in gospel music globally.
