Kaaris

Kaaris, born Gnakouri Okou Armand Olivier on January 30, 1980, in Cocody, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, is a French rapper, record producer, and composer of Ivorian descent. He gained prominence in the French rap scene with his debut album Or Noir in 2013, which was well-received and peaked at number 3 on the French charts. Kaaris had earlier established himself in the underground scene, starting his career in the late 1990s and releasing his first mixtape in 2001. In 2007, he released his street album 43ème Bima before signing with French Cut Music. Kaaris is also known for collaborations with artists such as Booba, Kalash Criminel, and Niro. He is recognized for his gritty, hard-hitting style that blends street rap with sharp production. With his influence in French rap, Kaaris has maintained a loyal fanbase and a significant presence in the French and international music scenes.
