Kholeka

Kholeka is a South African gospel artist known for her powerful voice and impactful music. She was born and raised in Willowvale, Eastern Cape, and moved to Johannesburg to pursue her music career. Her debut album, released in 1997, marked the beginning of her journey in the gospel music scene. With eight albums to her name, she has become a household name in gospel circles. Her music is not only loved by gospel fans but has crossed over to a wider audience, even earning her a nomination for Best Female Gospel Video at the Channel O Awards in 1995. Kholeka is also a talented songwriter, drawing inspiration from her faith and life experiences. She has continued to impress audiences with her live performances, including a memorable appearance at the Joy of Jazz festival. Along with her musical success, she is currently studying for a Communications degree, emphasizing the importance of education. Her latest album, Ngiyadumisa, continues her tradition of inspiring and soul-stirring gospel music.
