Minz is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer known for his Afro-fusion sound that blends elements of Afrobeat, R&B, and trap. He first gained recognition with his debut EP HMD released in 2020, which features songs like "Odoyewu" and "Pour Me Water." His music is characterized by immersive, rhythm-heavy beats, often incorporating unconventional elements such as dog barks and voice loops. Minz draws inspiration from artists like Bryson Tiller, Wizkid, and Maleek Berry, blending their influences into a sound that’s uniquely his own. In addition to his musical talents, Minz is also a producer, having created most of his tracks.
