Oga Abdul, born Abdullahi Mansur on June 12, 2000, in Jigawa, Nigeria, is a rising star in the Northern Nigerian music scene. He is known for his unique contributions to the Hausa music genre, particularly in the Ingausa style. His career began at a young age when he recorded a video of himself singing, which caught the attention of popular Hausa actor and musician Adam A. Zango. This led to Oga Abdul's professional development and recognition as one of the region's top vocalists. His breakthrough came with the song "Yar Sa’do" in 2020, and he continued to gain popularity with tracks like "Ta Baza" and "Akwai Daraja." In addition to his music, Oga Abdul founded the Arewa Turn Up event to showcase the talents of Northern Nigerian artists. His music blends Afro Pop with traditional Hausa sounds, contributing to the vibrant Kannywood culture. Despite his success, he is still in his early career and maintains a relatively low-profile personal life.
