Praiz, born Praise Ugbede Ologbose on March 8, 1984, in Nigeria, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer known for his smooth vocals and unique blend of R&B, Afrobeat, and soul music. Praiz first gained widespread attention after participating in the first season of Project Fame West Africa in 2008, where he finished as the first runner-up. His exceptional vocal talent and stage presence set him apart, quickly establishing him as one of Nigeria’s premier contemporary artists. Praiz's debut studio album, Rich and Famous, released in 2014, featured hit tracks such as “Sisi,” “I Love You,” and “2 Mins.” His ability to fuse African rhythms with Western R&B influences earned him both critical and commercial success.
