Tim Godfrey, born on August 26, 1979, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, music director, and producer celebrated for his powerful voice and dedication to spreading uplifting messages through music. He is best known for his energetic performances and unique fusion of contemporary gospel with Afrobeats, highlife, and hip-hop influences, which have redefined the gospel music scene in Nigeria. Raised in Kaduna, Nigeria, Tim Godfrey discovered his love for music at a young age and began singing in his local church choir. Over the years, he honed his skills as a vocalist and worship leader, eventually forming the renowned gospel group Xtreme Crew in 2004. With Xtreme Crew, Tim Godfrey gained widespread recognition, especially with the release of the hit song “Agidigba”, which became a favorite among gospel music lovers. Tim Godfrey's international breakthrough came with his collaboration with American gospel singer Travis Greene on the song “Nara” in 2018, which became a massive hit and garnered millions of views online.
