Femi Kuti

Femi Kuti is a Nigerian musician and songwriter, born Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo-Kuti on June 16, 1962, and the eldest son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. His music blends Afrobeat, jazz, and funk, continuing his father's legacy while adding his own unique style, showcased in albums like "No Cause for Alarm?" (1989), "Femi Kuti" (1995), and "Day by Day" (2008). A four-time Grammy nominee, Femi has collaborated with artists like Common and Mos Def, and as a social activist, advocates for human rights, social justice, and environmental issues through his music and Afrobeat-inspired Positive Force band.
