KeBlack
KeBlack, born Cédric Matéta Nkomi on January 30, 1992, in Creil, France, is a Congolese-French rapper and singer. His passion for music was influenced by his brother, Black Chat, whose stage name inspired KeBlack’s own. He gained recognition in 2014 with a freestyle of Tout Va Bien, which went viral on YouTube. This success led to a deal with Bomayé Music in 2015. KeBlack's debut album, Premier Étage (2017), reached number two on the French iTunes charts and included the hit song Bazardée. This album earned him a gold record. His second album, Appartement 105 (2018), further solidified his presence in the Afrotrap and R&B genres. Known for integrating Lingala lyrics into his songs, KeBlack remains popular in both European and African music scenes.
